Another heart warming read from Marie Fostino, a real page turner that describes heartache and the uncertainties of growing up. It’s a tear jerker, so get the box of tissues ready. Its beautifully written, very descriptive and a delight to read.

Through Michelle’s eyes, Jacqueline lives through the torment, pain, degradation of living in a German death camp, and being submitted to experiments due to carrying twins.

I found this book “unputdownable”, it was well written, descriptive and easy to read, and it had me gripped by the first chapter. The story however gave you an insight of the horrors that went on in the German death camps, and the tension at the end of the book will mean you will be reading throughout the night.

This is a story of how Donovan and his friends escape their captors, and start living a life in the woods with the wood elves. Through intense training with the elf leader Alayna, Donovan and his friends gain respect from the wood elves princess, Brandela.

This story has adventure, grief and romance, it was a joy to read, and it had me hooked from the first chapter. It was descriptive and the story held my attention, as all I wanted to know was if all would be ok for Donovan and Brandela. However, it was slow at times.

Finally, a book that proves that men can understand the meaning of love and respect, for their female life partner.  This book is a personal account of Steve’s marriage and explained some of the joys and tragedies.  It is beautifully written, poetic, flows well and a joy to read. However, it is not full of gush or at all soppy.

This book should be recommended to every man as there are lessons to be learnt, not only if they are married, but for any relationship. This book had me gripped from the word go, I was totally hooked and could not put it down. It told the story of Annette, a young lady who fell in love and had her heart broken. Then through the tragedy of a bombing in her local city, decisions were made which lead her to a different path.

I was really involved with the characters, which were very believable. Being a health care professional myself the intensity and stress of going through medical school, I could really relate too.

The book was easy to read, descriptive, well written and flowed. It was a pleasure to read. I recommend this book, and look forward to reading the next book by Marie Fostino.

I found this book very slow to start. It was very descriptive, and I was left wandering where the story was going, but it was good in parts. 

The story followed well-known singer/songwriter Annie, her lover Owen and Annie's brother Caulder in a story of murder, love and betrayal. The novel moves between past tense accounts of Annie's life. It was well written and flowed, but lacked tension. Unfortunately I struggled to read this book
